Naomi Mbise is a Master of Divinity candidate at Harvard Divinity School, where her work focuses on Religion and Public Life and African Religious Studies. From 2023 to 2024, she served with the Lutheran Office for World Community in New York City, a joint ministry of the Lutheran World Federation (LWF) and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
Naomi holds a double B.A. in Political Science and Theology and Christian Leadership from California Lutheran University. This academic year, she is grateful to serve as the Ministry Intern at University Lutheran Church and looks forward to worshiping, “communing,” and serving alongside this beloved community.
