
Our sister in Christ, Margrit Betke, died on 13 August 2025. A distinguished professor of computer science at Boston University, Margrit was also a longtime member of the congregation, a past Church Council president, and a faithful singer in the UniLu choir. For more about her life and work, see:

Margrit was surrounded in these last days by many friends and chosen family. Many thanks to the many from UniLu and Margrit’s wider community who were Christ’s hands and feet for her these last weeks.
A memorial service was held at University Lutheran Church on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 10:30 am. Contributions in Margrit’s memory may be made to University Lutheran Church or the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Well done, good and faithful servant. Rest in God’s arms.
