Beginning Sunday, July 20, Pastor Carrie will lead a discussion of Martin Luther’s foundational treatise, The Freedom of a Christian. These sessions will be held in the air-conditioned Alumni/ae Room at UniLu. We hope to also make these sessions available by Zoom.
We will meet at 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings before worship for 6 weeks, from July 20 to August 24, and then will continue in the fall season for 6 weeks as well (September 7 to October 12).
Copies of The Freedom of a Christian as well as an accompanying study guide from the ELCA will be made available shortly. No registration required. It is perfectly fine to attend even if you can’t commit to every session! In this time when our faith is being tested on many levels, it’s a good time to dive into this text which has shaped our little corner of Christianity!
