It’s here! Please join us for Holy Week (April 2-9, 2023) to honor the life of Jesus, remember his death, and rejoice in his resurrection. All services will be available both in person and on Zoom.
Palm Sunday (April 2)
- Service begins at 10:30 am, with a musical prelude at 10:15 by the UniLu brass
- Attending in person? Come inside to pick up a bulletin and palms, then join the procession outside or remain comfortably seated in the sanctuary

- After the service, we’ll have the chance to see Holy Land, a short film by Brittany Browning and Reuben Browning about Holy Week in Jerusalem (see trailer)
Maundy Thursday (April 6)
- Service begins at 7:30 pm, with a musical prelude at 7:15
- We will hear reflections on Jesus’ care for his disciples through footwashing; celebrate Holy Communion; and strip the altar in preparation for Good Friday.
Good Friday (April 7)
- Service begins at 7:30 pm, with a musical prelude at 7
- We will solemnly remember Christ’s sacrifice and death through readings, teachings, prayers, and songs.
Holy Saturday (April 8)
- Work day begins at 10 am. Come to polish silver and brass, decorate the chancel with flowers, set up for the Easter Vigil, or pick up trash in the yard.
- The Easter Vigil, a time to hear the stories of our faith, remember our baptisms, and await the resurrection, begins at 9 pm
Easter (April 9)
- Service begins at 10:30 am, with a musical prelude at 10:15
