The University Lutheran Church Council invites you to a special meeting of the congregation on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 7 pm.
The intention of this meeting is to act on the Council’s recommendation to accept a proposal from TG Gallagher for restoring and updating the HVAC system on the lower level of 66 Winthrop.
The Council has reviewed three proposals from two different companies, and has selected one proposal that it believes is the best choice for UniLu. This work will include replacing currently non-functioning systems with functional ones, as well as updating filtration and other safety features to mitigate risk of COVID-19 transmission in the space.
Details of this proposal will be distributed prior to the meeting for congregational review, including the cost breakdown and the significant amount of pledged support from the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter Corporation. A congregational vote will occur following the review of the proposal.
Who can vote? Any member of UniLu is eligible to vote. Students attending university are eligible to vote without a membership transfer.
