Daylight Savings Time Next SundayDaylight Savings Time begins next Sunday, March 14. Don't forget to set your clocks ahead one hour! Observances for LentEvery Thursday evening from now through March 25, all are welcome to gather for a simple meal of soup and bread at 6:30 P.M., followed by worship at 7:15 P.M. Worship will conclude by 8:00 P.M. Make these midweek gatherings part of your Lenten practice this year! Following three of the Thursday evening gatherings, Pastor Engquist will lead a discussion of Take This Bread: A Radical Conversion by Sara Miles, one of the books she read on sabbatical last summer. Forum on Economic Issues This SundayThe Greater Boston Interfaith Organization (GBIO), of which UniLu is a member, is working to address two key economic issues of concern to many in the Boston area: student loan practices that burden many students with high levels of debt; and credit card lending practices and usurious interest rates. All are invited to a discussion on Sunday, March 14 after the 11:00 service to share stories around these issues, learn more about GBIO's campaigns, and help strategize and provide input about next steps in GBIO's campaign.
