Harvard Divinity School will host the 29th annual Lutherans in Diaspora Conference on February 9 and 10, 2007. The theme of the conference is "Ministers Needed: Fragile, Agile, and Wise." Our keynote speaker will be Rev. Stephanie Paulsell, Houghton Professor of the Practice of Ministry Studies at Harvard Divinity School. The program will also feature conversations with Rev. Kim Beckmann, director of candidacy for the ELCA, and with professors and ThD students about doctoral studies and vocation. There will also be plenty of time for worship and socializing.

Housing and parking will be arranged on request. The registration fee is $20 and includes Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, and Saturday lunch. See the brochure and registration form (PDF; Adobe Reader required) for a complete schedule as well as directions to the campus.

For those requesting housing, the registration deadline is February 1, 2007. Those not needing housing may register up to the day of the conference, space permitting.
