Opportunities to Cook or Bake

Want to get involved in campus ministry? If you're willing and able to help cook an occasional dinner or provide snacks (especially at the beginning of the semester) for any of our campus ministries, please contact Pastor Engquist. The BU group meets weekly for dinner on Tuesdays; Northeastern hosts weekly gatherings on Thursdays with lighter fare.

Would you enjoy sharing freshly baked bread at the communion table? How about baking some using our recipe from Luther Seminary? If you'd like to try but need more information on how, how much, or when, contact Pastor Engquist.

Volunteers are welcome and needed at the Harvard Square Churches Meals Program, a shared ministry of the churches in the Harvard Square area. Dinner is served every Thursday at Christ Church Episcopal (Zero Garden Street, across from the Cambridge Common). Volunteer for an hour or more between 2:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. to prepare, serve, and clean up a dinner for more than 100 homeless and needy people. For more information, call the church office.

Everyone Can Do Laundry...

Help with laundering and ironing Communion linens is needed. If you are willing to do this, please contact Clare Gordon.

Got Mail?

Save the stamps from your mail! University Lutheran Women collects them for a German organization called Bethel, a residential facility for developmentally disabled adults. Residents participate in preparing the stamps for collectors around the world, which are sold to help support the program. A box for the stamps is located in the church office over the mailbox slots (opposite the file cabinets).
