Location

Jazz at the Church takes place at University Lutheran Church, 66 Winthrop Street, Cambridge, two blocks south of the Harvard Square T stop and one block east of the House of Blues. On the map, the blue rectangle indicates our location, and the T stop is colored red.

We recommend taking public transportation to Jazz Vespers, since subway and bus service to Harvard Square is plentiful. See the MBTA web site for Sunday evening schedules.

If you do decide to travel by car (driving directions), please come prepared to pay for parking. You might get lucky and find on-street parking, but as meters aren't in effect all day Sundays, these spots are very scarce on Sunday evenings. The church has no parking lot, and the spots in front of our building are privately owned (not by us) and patrolled vigilantly by a towing company. There are two parking garages close by, one on the corner of Eliot and JFK Streets, the other underneath the Holyoke Center. There is also a metered lot underneath the Harvard Square Hotel (corner of Mt. Auburn and Eliot streets, across from the Charles Hotel); spots there are scarce on Sundays, but free if you get one!
